State Records Research Centre Reopening
As of Tuesday 16 June, the State Records of South Australia's Gepps Cross Research Centre will be reopening. This will allow the viewing of records that cannot be accessed online. However, following government guidance, and in the interest of staff and user wellbeing, the Centre will not be offering all of their usual services, and some limitations still apply.

The History Effect
In response to the cancellation of face-to-face events, the History Council of NSW has created and curated a series of online presentations. These are held over Zoom or a similar meeting space, and interaction between the audience and presenters is encouraged.

Rare New Zealand Photographs auctioned
Rare vintage photographs of New Zealand from the Fairfax archive were offered for the first time on an online auction which closed June 8. Many Australian Libraries, museums, and others have also been buying up Australian photographs. If you or your institution are interested in Australian historic items for your collection, please email [email protected] to discuss.
