HCSA Fellows Lecture

Since 2021, the HCSA has organised a lecture event for the current year's HCSA Fellow to present on their work at the State Library of South Australia. Depending on the availability of the fellows, the event will sometimes also feature the previous year's fellow to present on the outcomes of their Fellowship research.

Annual General Meeting

The HCSA holds Annual General Meetings in October, the specific date is decided each year. Not only is the AGM an important part of the governance of the HCSA, it also offers a fellowship opportunity for members to meet and discuss their work, and the field of South Australian history and heritage.

HCSA Historian Awards

The annual HCSA Historian Awards are an important part of the calendar for South Australian history. Each year, the HCSA appoints judges to assess submissions across several categories of contribution and excellence. Over the past few years, the awards have been announced at the closing event of the History Trust of South Australia's History Festival.
